He's the 7th guy among our groups of 10 macho+handsome guys who tied the knot leaving his bachelor title behind. We were great schoolmates in the good ole days often riding our bikes going to places altogether. Time past so fast that it was over a decade since we all went off with our own career.

Allright, I want to talk about this wedding thing about Joseph, yeah the one who get marry with his gf (now his wife) Casey. The big day has finally arrived on the 8th of July 2007 where the wedding took place. My friend Joseph was from Ipoh going down south to KL where his in-law stay and back to Ipoh in the afternoon for the wedding. It certainly going to be a long and tiring journey.
My head was still darn dizzy that morning cos during the previous night, the few of us wallup a whole bottle of 'Cordon Bleu' a.k.a 'Blue Belt' with the bridegroom. I never really took so much liquor before and I was pretty 'High' that night. And now I was travelling with them all day long. Luckily I wasn't driving.

The wedding machine. A Toyota Alphard. My friend certainly going to have a nice and relax time sitting inside there. While they cruising along the highway with their executive machine steadily, we were chasing like mad dog behind with our fully packed sedans. And if you happen to drive the highway to KL, you should notice there are construction everywhere along the highway. The experience was likely unpleasant.

Wedding items. All these things will be bring along together, in case if the bride was thirsty or hungry, there will be something to fill up. Ops, I was just bluffing.

A relationship is full of obstacles, so as wedding. It ain't easy to get a hold to your future wife (during the wedding) if you are not well prepared. The bride would have her gang of 'sisters'. You ain't going to see no bride if you can't get through them. Hey, we also have our 'brothers' along. Any resistance is futile.
So, here we are at the main door to the bride house and somehow we were stopped by the bride's 'sisters'. Gosh, do they looks like a gang of mob instead... uh am I scared or what.

All right, the first obstacle was that we were acquired to find the 9 pieces of 1 cent coin inside the pail which is also filled with a few other coins, water and ice cube. On top of that, it has to be done within 5 seconds!

After a few attempts of grabbing each other's hands inside the icy water, finally our bridegroom manage to handover the coins. Instead of 9 coins, we gave them 10 coins! Wahaha, talk about well prepared!

The bride was inside the room and is the mob trying to make our life miserable again. Yeah, more obstacles.
The bridegroom is acquired to say 'I love you' in ten different language. Well, Malaysian we born linguish. We spoke at least 2 language and on most cases people know more than 3 language. Somehow we have 'I love You' in Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, Malay, Engrish, Mandarin, Japanese, Thai and some alienated language which nobody tends to understand.
Then the bridegroom was acquired to say ten good things about the bride. Yeah, saying she is beautiful, easy going bla bla bla stuff. I guess that is not going to drain his brain just to figure it out. But our supportive 'brothers' does gave a lot a support and assistance to get over it.
You know, people tends to say life consist of sweet, sour, bitter and spice. Along the journey of life, one get to experience all sort of situation and feeling, happiness, sad, anger, blue and so on. And this is the message they try to deliver to the bride.

Woah! Bitter gourd. I don't know who but I know one of our brave 'brothers' did take a bite of the bitter gourd. Well, bitter gourd just tase a lil bit bitter but it isn't too bad afterall.
The sweet and sour taste consist of syrup and some lemonade drinks, piece of cake la.
But how about SPICE ?

Representing the falvour of SPICE! Mixture of wasabi and cili padi! Woahhh! who want a taste of this le?! You know, the wasabi vapour would give you enough jolt to turn your face away from it before it gets into your mouth. And if you have a teaspoon of pure + raw + fresh + hot wasabi in you mouth, you gonna get one hell of a blow in your mouth, through your ears, nose and eyes. It was that kind of feel I tell ya.

Daredevil! A few of our fearless 'brothers' were man enough to finish up all the wasabi! You don't want to know how they looks like having the wasabi in their mouth hehehe.
The game has yet to come to an end and there are still more to go.

Our poor bride is asked to do pumping+signing. Theres nothing much we could help but to give him some mental support. Yeah, if you think marry was easy, think again.

When next time you make your gf or wife angry this is how it going to be. Begging and praising your love one to open the door!

Muaaaah! ;x
A big kiss to the bride and finally they live happily ever after... lol

Yum yum... after all those sweat and brain squeezing activity, it is time to have some meal to fill up our tummy. While the couple would have to get on with the tea serving ceremony, we would be enjoying our lunch at the porch.
It was already late afternoon as everything is done at the bride's house and it was time to move on cruising back to Ipoh. It has already started to rain and the same situation happens to be the same in Ipoh.

Since it was raining, we dare not to drive so fast. You know, the road would be slippery and it was dangerous. But yet, we can't catch up with the freaking Toyota Alphard!
It was raining heavily as we approached Ipoh. The couple is suppose to reach home after 3pm and we were early by half an hour so we stop by at a nearby Kopitiam and have a tea break for a while before heading back to the bridegroom's home.

One of the thing needed to be done once the new couple arrive was to see these kids jumping on their new bed. The more the better!

And of course, after dripping whole lot of sweat jumping on the bed, their effort will not go unrewarded.
The wedding ceremony comes to the end after the tea serving and taking a happy whole family photo. It was a tiring day travelling south down and back on a bad weather day but it a a day full of joy and fun to everybody.
There will be a wedding dinner on the same evening, you know, the 'Yam Seeennng!' thing.
