It happens on every Chinese New Year eve and this is when every member of the family get together to enjoy a reunion dinner. During the recent years, our family reunion dinner is no longer take place at home like all the previous years but hey, we did have a reunion lunch altogether at home.
I personally liked the dinner at home, although it was kind of troublesome to do the shopping, cooking, cleaning and get things together but it was fun to get everything done among the family members.

This year's dinner is held at Kok Thai Restaurant. It was located behind the Kinta City (Jusco) shopping center.

The first dish on the table was certainly the Yee Sang which is the symbolic dish for ushering good luck, health, wealth and longevity for the upcoming lunar new year. It makes my saliva dripping liao.

Secondly would be this Braised Fish Lips Soup with Assorted seafood. Kind of like the Shark Fin soup lor.

Next, comes this Roasted Suckling Pig. Its crispy roasted skin was so crunchy and delicious.

The forth dish is this Deep Fried Siakap with Hunan Sauce. Hmm, doesn't this mesmerize you? I love seafood especially fish and this crispy fried Siakap is surely tasty.

That was my elder brother tearing the fish apart. OMG, he has just crushed the fish in pieces ! Duno why can't he just leave the fish alone.

My dad gave this to me, a Siakap tail. Why? I duno la.

Soon, came this Mixed Vegetables with Fresh Scallop. Did you see any scallop there? I couldn't recalled if I did ate any.

OK, this Poached Fresh Tiger Prawn was yummy.

Fried Rice with Ikan Bilis. Just looks like a Nasi Goreng Kampung to me.

Yum Yum, I was so hungry that I can't get enough of it.

Finally, the desert is here. This Sweetened Sea Coconut and Longan terrified me. Hey, did the sugar price drop or the chef accidently dropped a whole sack of sugar there. I find it freaking over-sweetened.
