There is this clay pot chicken rice shop in Pasir Pinji, Ipoh which is pretty much famous and has been operating for quite some times. My dad used to buy us clay pot chicken rice from this shop and our whole family likes it so much.
The shop is located just opposite the Pasir Pinji wet market and it is open for business in the evening start from 5.00pm.
Instead of Kow Kei soup, there are other choices of soup for your preference. The Ham Choy(preserved pickled) soup is very much delicious too. Each bowl of soup is freshly prepared right after you place the order.
Also, you might want to order a plate of Yow Choy (steamed vegetables with oil and soy sauce) as a side dish too.
We have had a small pot of clay pot chicken rice, a nice bowl of Kow Kei soup and a glass of plain ice water. It total up with an amount of RM7.80. It was that dead cheap I'telya.
I'm sure there is a lot of loyal customer visiting him daily and no wonder why he is the Always Wealthy one.

try the best claypot chicken rice and the claypot low se fun at restaurant taman ramai at berchan. the location is from ipoh to bercham after police station come to a traffic light and just after the traffic light, on the right a caltex station and the 2 units shops is just next to the station. business is from 6.00pm to 10.00 pm. also try there white coffee and tea. you will nevel forget its after you have its.
