Great Desktop Dictionary

This is a cool desktop dictionary program is very much useful and the best is, it is FREE.

How many of you actually know every each word in English?
I am not very good in English. Every time I read an article, there certainly would be a few words that I could not understand what it means. I have thrown away my oxford dictionary some decades ago ever since I left school, so I wont get to flip the bulk and heavy block of dictionary anymore. After all, in this era of technology, there are many other option available that functions as a dictionary.

Magical Jellybean Dictionary is a small dictionary client that runs in your pc. It connects to the dictionary server every time you make an enquiry. Yes, it needs an internet connection in order to get the results. This is very useful when you are reading articles over the internet and need to find out some words meaning.

This client is very easy to use, you just need to download a copy of the client and unzip it onto your desktop and place it on the launch bar. Once you execute the program, an interface will appear and you just need to key in what words you want to find and click the 'Define' button. It will start connecting to the dictionary server and return the result in an instant.

This dictionary also has a list of databases of different kind of dictionary where you can choose from on you query. It includes a list of other language translation which I found I useful.

Well, now I know that chicken in Italian is called gallina. Hmm, next time if I want to my friend a chicken maybe I would yell gallina ! at him. Oh, my friend was a hokkien born dude, I am afraid he may thought I yell, Kanina ! at him instead and he surely will whack me upside down for no additional reason. Oh well, I guess Italian chicken is just not suitable to be server here. Eat it ! gallina.. !

Also, there is a 'Strategy' option with a list of matching option if you need to refine your result.

no need to unzip it when click on the define button??? Is it automatically unzip ar? Thanks.

you just need to download the client (without installer) zip file.
then unzip the dict.exe file onto your desktop
double click on the dict.exe program and the dictionary interface will appear.
