Happy Mothers Day - I'm sorry mom

It's Mother's Day! I would like to wish my mom a Happy Mother's Day, you are the best mom in the world!

Talk about Mother's Day, my whole family had a dinner at Bukit TampoonTambun Seafood Restaurant at Jalan Kuala Kangsar. You know, it was one hell of dinner. Since it was Mother's Day, the place was packed but instead, we were seated on the second floor. It was not full on the second floor and everyone get seated comfortably. There are 15 of us, so we decided to split it into to tables.

The long waiting period was killing everyone, we arrived there at 7.20pm and we were waiting waiting and waiting like dummy there. My dad was really tulan already and really wanted to leave the place. Somehow, our main course finally arrived and it was freaking 9.00pm already, WTF!
Their kitchen capacity can't actually cope up with the amount of customers yet they open the second floor and makes everyone up there wait and mentally tortured horribly. So freaking greed!

Our main course was this 'Lang Pun'. It was a plate of various variety dishes altogether, everyone certainly love this one. RM100.00 for this plate alone, do you feel it worth the way it looks? I know this particular dish was famous and it was indeed expensive but most of the dishes it has on top of this plate looks cheap!

Then we have this 'Kung Pou' Mantis shrimp meat. I think they put too much dry chilli thus it taste much spicy.

Teochew style steamed Siakap. We're fish lover and when you want to enjoy a steamed fish, certainly the freshness of the fish is the main key to a delicious fish. This siakap I would say, is pretty fresh. The meat is tender and sweet. The seasoning however, screw up! Yeah, thats the only word I could describe it. It taste like lime juice.

Belacan Kang Kung. I'm sure everyone knows this dish la, c'mmon, you could find this dish almost in every restaurant right. This one taste just so-so la, nothing impressive at all. But still I want to complaint it la. It has so much sand inside! Guess the worker is too busy till no time to wash it properly la. I never had a vege dish which has so much sand like this one before. It's aweful!

Finally, my favourite crab appear! Actually I tasted the crabcrap here once couple of years ago. Not of my preference though. The sauce was too sour for this what so called Sweet-Sour-CrabCrap. Where the sweet gone, I dono? Running out of tomato sauce maybe.

Well, we were among the lastly served table there and as everyone's 'enjoy' enough of the dinner, we summoned the bill. The bill total up to an amount of RM488. Not expensive la, but the experience to have a dinner like this one was horrible enough.

Happy Mother's Day mom, but I'm so sorry to you for the unexpected-terrible-dinner. I felt so guilty now but I don't know what else I could do.
