Chicken Rice are available everywhere. Every state, every city, every town you go, you will surely see some of the restaurant there hanging some chicken on the stall. Whether it was good or the other wise, usually the crowd would tell. Delicious food always attract crowd of people.
Pak Kong Chicken Rice restaurant is located at Jalan Teater which is in between the liquor shop and Rasa Sayang restaurant. It was pretty much crowded during lunch time.
Once you have placed your order, you will be served with a bowl of salted vegetable soup (Ham Choi Tong) which I felt was a good appetizer. Since years ago until now, they are still serving this same 'Ole soup and No, there is no other choice of soup here.
A good chicken rice should always comes with a great chilli sauce. The chilli sauce here is tempting enough to make your saliva dripping.
Superlicious Pak Kong Chicken Rice. I liked the steamed chicken here because it's meat was so smooth. You could also order the roasted chicken or barbecue pork (Char Siew) which is very delicious too.

Once it used to be the famous chic rice in Ipoh but as time eats the place and with poor low maintenance, I wouldnt say so now. I'd been to that place a few weeks ago and while eating the rice, I counted the roaches that wander around the place. I think I reached #6. I prefer the Pak Kung rice at Greentown Corner. Much much much cleaner.
