Trip to Melaka A Farmosa Water World

It was Chinese New Year and I have a one week holiday along the festive season. I was a busy period and as like most of my previous years, I will be busy driving here and there. This year, we had a family trip to the A Farmosa Resort at Melaka. I have been to the Safari before but not the water park. This time around I will be visiting both of it.

We are leaving Ipoh in three vehicles early in the morning to avoid congestion in the North-South expressway. Just the previous day I spent almost six hours driving from Alor Star back to Ipoh, a drive which usually takes 3 hours. I was already weekend and everybody is rushing back to the capital city to start work and school on Monday and the highway sometimes turn you to no-where.

The early drive was smooth although the highway was kind of pack. We pull over at Bidor for breakfast before continue our journey to Melaka. It was close to afternoon when we reach the resort and we went straight to the Water World Park.

The entrance ticket is inclusive of a polystyrene lunchbox and a can of soft drink. Everyone is charging up some energy before going onto the swimming pool.

It was a hot afternoon and what else could be better than jumping into the swimming pool.

My little one definitely the happiest boy in the world now being able to play in the water park. It has been quite some times already since the last time I bring him into a water park. And being a parent now I don’t really have the privilege anymore to explore and play everything in the park as I like. Got to keep my eye on the little boy. Some of the place here seems to be fun but was kind of hazardous. I saw few patrons slip and fall and eventually hurt themselves playing in the park.

The Water World occupies a very large area with many kinds of water activities.

Although it was Monday but seems that there are still many on holiday that the pool was kind of congested.

It was about four in the late afternoon and we had enough. Most already exhausted and needed some rest. We just pack up our stuff and check in to our lodging place for the night.

We stayed at the D Savor condominium in the resort. We stay in one of the four twenty four storey condo here. The place was like deserted and quiet. But well quiet was good right, at least everyone would get a good night sleep.

But it was still early to go sleeping, we went out to the Melaka city for a night tour and witness the Venice of Malaysia for the first time.
